“This was an amazing exercise where we all came in and sat in a circle of chairs that each had a rhythm instrument. Jojhn led us through several rhythm activities relating to leadership, then had the group come in and lead as he stepped back! Truly a remarkable program!”

“I am very delayed in getting this to you, but I wanted to make sure I shared some of the amazing feedback we got from your session. I have attached an export from Survey Monkey that has statistics for the specific question about your session.
The comments below are copied and pasted from the open ended questions ..
· Speakers were fantastic! Engaging, timely, on point, and hit home with a message that we needed to hear. I would like to take a little more time celebrating a good year when we have one instead of immediately looking forward. Looking forward is important.
· I thought the speakers were very inspirational
· Outstanding event. I truly enjoyed the group activities, guest speakers, and time spent with co-workers.
· As always, fun, interactive and valuable.
· It was fun. It is fun to get out of the comfort zone with anything like this.
· The two group sessions - drums & teams - were very beneficial to show how the team as a whole has a rhythm, and there are different people that step up at different times to lead the way while the others maintain the beat. The break out teams gave us as small groups to give our perspective on where the company is at in different areas, and what improvements can be made. Thank you again for everything.
Have a great weekend,”

"I felt like I could do it too. I really enjoyed the show." H. Blevins
"I felt happy because the music was fun. I would love for him to come again." E. Bailey
Thank you and we look forward to working with you again.”

“Oh we had TONS of positive comments! Everyone enjoyed themselves and thought that the lessons learned could be easily applied to how our jobs are connected, how we communicate and how we work together to produce a common goal. Not only did our folks have great things to say about the 'Get Rhythm' exercise, but also about you! Your passion really comes through in all that you do. And everyone was touched when I told them that you and your assistant took our extra boxed lunches to a local homeless shelter. You really won a lot of fans here at Team Health. I know I will be recommending you very highly. Thanks for all that you did for us!”

“Thank you for guiding and leading the Arab City School System's faculty and staff in "realizing our rhythm". The team building program reminded us that we each have our own "sound" that contributes to the pulse of our school district. The program was a great kick-off to a new year and we left feeling motivated, energized, and ready for 2015!”

“John,
I REALLY like the video. Thanks very much for all of the work you put into this. We are attempting to present views of as many applications as possible, as we are entering a new world with regards to the use of drums. This material will fit in nicely and I am sure will be used in the very near future.
Thanks again, John, for all you do for Remo and, more importantly, the individuals you work with.”

“Hi John!
Your session at JMT was such an incredible experience of which I feel privileged having been a part of!
I learned ...
.... that I had rythm (I don't play any musical instrument)
.... that I had a voice (remember the woodblock?) - power to enforce or disrupt
.... that I could align my rythm with the one of the group and vice-versa
.... how important putting someone in the experience is
.... how becoming aware of the pulse allows for a rythm or synergy to be created
.... what it does to people when they become aware of the pulse and contribute to it, become part of the rythm
.... how I felt part of the group, sharing this exciting experience with enthusiastic people
... how rythm communicates with your soul, as a powerful way to feeling a strong desire to fully express oneself, removing barriers
For me it was also this event that made me feel part of the group. I was quite impressed by it all and felt tiny and insignificant - after this energetic and bonding performance, I felt part of the group. It was a real icebreaker for me!
The links you made with the leadership teachings was extremely powerful to put it all in the right context so that we became aware of what was actually happening. You need the experience to internalise the message, but you need the evaluation of the experience to really learn something.
I don't think I even grasped all that this experience offered.
It would be great to see it once more in written form.
Anyway, thank you so much!
It was an awesome experience and one of my favourite parts of the training!”
With love and rythm ;)

“Greetings John,
It's with a smile that I congratulate your success of touching our spirits, hearts, and souls on that memorable day in Orlando.
The activity was the symbol of "Unity by Choice" for me. Our internal drive to elevate to our individual callings converged on one beat, one melody, one rhythm toward the pulse of the John Maxwell Team
Thank you for the moving experience. That sound will be with me forever.”

“Hey John,
Just wanted to let you know that the big event on the 29th was a huge success. Thank you SO much for helping me learn to steer this ship!
The concentric circles worked out beautifully, as did having all my big drums near the center. We kept bells and blocks out of the picture (except for with my helpers) and I clearly saw the wisdom in that as well.
The kids rocked out and we were heavy loud, but I was able to manage the moment and shape it into music.
Happy to say that it would not have been nearly so smooth without you. Thanks for taking the time to write out your advice and send it to me!
All joy and success to you and to Get Rhythm!
Thanks again.”

“Mr. Scalici,
Thank you so much for coming out to our school today! The students really responded well to you and your presentation. I was very impressed with how you were able to create an atmosphere of fun, yet impart so much information! That is the essence of great teaching. I also wanted to let you know that I found your original invoice and we will mail your fee immediately. Thanks again, for your time with our students.”
Sincerely,
Michelle Meeks
“John:
Again, many thanks for a fabulous program for our Youth Leadership Cherokee class! I received many compliments from parents of the students and their counselors since Tuesday. The students are still raving about how much fun they had with Get Rhythm! Your program was the perfect “kick-off” and orientation for our year long class.
The check is in the mail and our face book page is Youth Leadership Cherokee. I will send you a clipping of the press release when it is printed in our local paper.
It was a pleasure meeting you. I will gladly provide recommendations for your program anytime.
Take care and safe travels.

I’ve been meaning to email you for a week! Just wanted to thank you again for coming out to Camp Conquest. The whole evening was just magical! I think you got our camp started off on the right foot. We had such a great group this year, and I attribute a lot of that to the wonderful program you put on for us. It really got the kids engaged and helped focus on our goal of teamwork.
Hope you had a spectacular holiday! Thanks again for sharing your time with us!”

“Hi John,
Great to hear from you. I ordered the cards cause, as you know, I loved your idea and wondered if I could integrate that game into the entrainment step of the HealthRHYTHMS protocol for our Remo/HealthRHYTHMS Employee Wellness program (6 weekly, Healthrhythms sessions offered to every employee).
I think what you have created is a very useful tool for use in programs designed to develop leadership skills and teamwork.
By the way, I ran into someone at the NSBA Conference from Alabama who said that you had provided a wonderful program for them. I don’t recall his name, but he was very complimentary. Always glad to hear the feedback that you’re out there making a difference!
Warm Regards.”

“Yo Superstar,
I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for all you did for my students and my percussion program. Your artistry and willingness to share your talents with us is highly appreciated, and we will reap the benefits far into the future.
Your performance skills and on-stage presence were both entertaining and energetic. I cannot tell you how much positive feedback I have received on the concert the other night, it is truly staggering. Many people have repeatedly stated how much they enjoyed the concert concept and the programming. They particularly seemed to enjoy the "point/counterpoint" performance that you and I provided, which leads me to believe that we need to investigate doing some more together.
I definitely look forward to having you back here so that we can take what we have done so far to the next level. If I can do anything for you, please let me know.”

“John,
Thank you for a wonderful evening! I have received very positive feedback from our members and know from their comments that they not only gained leadership and team-building skills, but had a wonderful time while doing so. We had a general membership meeting last night, and when I mentioned our drum session with you, those who were present on Friday night were "all smiles" as they shared with the others at the meeting.
I wish you continued success in your work, and especially with the special children with whom you work.”

“I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience you brought to our children today. They had the BEST time and talked about it for the rest of the day. Just for the record, I spent a great deal of my day telling them to stop playing the drums on their desks!!!! lol They talked about you and the different things you told them--you really made an impression. Many of our students need a good positive role model and I feel you touched several of them. Again, thank you. Also, I think every teacher involved either stopped by my room or sent me a note to thank me for getting you to come to Demopolis.
Hopefully, next year I can arrange to have you come back and do it all over again!!! Take care.”

Everyone was so thankful and came up to me the next day and the day after expressing their thanks and enjoyment of the evening. Wasn't the moon right there with us? Thank you for the drum circle you facilitated at our retreat.
